Was at the airport and a guy next to me was on the phone with his friend and says, “Buddy I was off the sauce all week… well Monday thru Wednesday… yeah then got after it on Thursday, but that was three days of progress.” Then we made eye contact and just gave each other a slight nod. Fellow booze bags find each other.

Just Going for One

Yup, was planning to have a chill Saturday. Had plans to meet my buddy for a burger and a beer. Met up with my girlfriend’s dad before, suck down 8 beers with him… shocker. My buddy now has to pick me up and we end up closing down the local pub.
